TD SYNNEX office hours — from IT request to Ansible

Level Up joins a TD SYNNEX office-hours session to show how a request already in the backlog becomes a reviewed playbook and an AAP job template.

The situation

The next Ansible use case is often already sitting in Jira or ServiceNow. The gap is the path from that request to a playbook someone will sign off, commit, and run on Ansible Automation Platform.

TD SYNNEX is hosting office hours on that path. Red Hat Premier Partner Level Up will demo BacklogZero® — self-hosted agentic AI that turns an IT service request or operator intent into playbook YAML and an AAP job template, with a person still in the loop.

What happened

This is a live office-hours session, not a recorded product tour. The walkthrough follows the same order subscribers already use:

  1. Start from a request or typed intent.
  2. Generate a playbook.
  3. Review it.
  4. Put it in Git.
  5. Land a job template on AAP.

The session also covers how AI agents talk to that same environment through MCP — one connection, not a pile of one-off scripts.

What we learned

Operators keep asking the same two questions: where does agentic AI sit next to Ansible they already trust, and who still owns change control. The honest answer is the same one we ship: generate is fast; review, Git, and AAP stay human-gated. Throughput goes up because the draft starts from the ticket. The tools do not get replaced.

What changes because of it

If you run AAP and an ITSM backlog, this hour is the shortest way to see the loop end to end and ask questions. Register for the TD SYNNEX session.

On the appliance, the same loop is Playbook Review, then Git, then AAP — with MCP when the agent should drive the same steps from the IDE.
